Computer Disposal Evening Hours After Work in Auckland
by Ethical E-Waste
If you have an old computer desktop, PC, laptop or any other electronic waste we are happy to receive it from you during our regular week day collection hours being from 9.00AM to 9.00PM Monday to Friday.
Most people don't realise there there is a way to recycle your PC within Auckland Central after work hours.
Even if you finish work at 5.00PM it is still convenient to stop by our e waste recycling center to dispose of your old desktop computer PC on the way home from work. Since we're open till 9.00PM that allows for many convenient drop-offs of your unwanted laptops, electronics, components and other household e waste that you otherwise don't have a way to dispose of it responsibly.
At our facility we can assess what we collected, sort it, test it, and work with our channels/partners to see it re-homed/re-used/upcycled and or processed responsibly.
With full desktop computers there are a lot of components and even old computers can still run small business software tasks when setup with the appropriate software and refreshed/cleaned so they're running fast (in some cases, almost as good as new!). So there is a lot of value to be had out of old computers and you can either delete your data before you arrive or leave it as-is because every storage device (including hard drives within desktop towers) are securely stored and forensically wiped as part of our in-take process so you have peace of mind that your data has been destroyed.
We look forward to helping every day kiwis to recycle their unwanted old desktop machines so that we can make good use of them and help the environment at the same time by avoiding landfill by all means possible.
