How we recycle and reuse New Zealand routers in Auckland
We are setting up an operation for testing and redeployment of consumer-grade routers from our Central Auckland location for redistribution and re-use all over New Zealand in a variety of common networking situations. Standard operational networking equipment is very reusable as an electronic e-waste and we're proud to be able to do so and also hope to be able to redistribute beyond New Zealand too where it makes economic sense.
From our drop-off/collection point in Auckland we receive your routers (2degrees, OneNZ, Spark, etc.) and can test them to ensure they are still working and make notes regarding packaging, plugs, accessories available and any other notes about how we received this device.
We can then test them and organise them for efficient future re-distribution to help kiwis that need networking equipment for their organisations at no-cost.
This is still a mission in progress but we have the facilities to do the testing and help make good re-use of old electronic unused routers in Central Auckland.
So if you have a router that needs disposing please come to 1 Keystone Avenue (Mount Roskill) at a pre-arranged time that you can confirm with us via phone call or email now.
We regularly collect routers from homes in Mount Roskill, Mount Albert, Balmoral, Mount Eden, Onehunga, Sandringham, Three Kings, One Tree Hill and wider Auckland suburbs so call us now if you want to dispose of a router or old ISP networking equipment (or any e-waste at all) and we'll see how we can help you!
